Banat Akhir
Zaman are a little (but ever expanding) friendly group
of young Lebanese and Arab feminists, in or freshly out
of college, who came together because we felt that what
is missing in Lebanon is a holistic grassroots feminist
movement: a movement of young women all over the
country, a movement that does not think that all women
are the same and want the same things, and a movement
that understands how the personal, social, economic and
political factors are connected in our lives.
We are neither affiliated nor prejudiced
towards any political or sectarian group/party. We are
part of the social campaigns of The League of
Independent Activists,
IndyACT, that works on environmental, cultural, as
well as social issues.
